Job Description

Job Summary:
The Engineering Services Manager will lead and manage all engineering, maintenance, and infrastructure activities across the company’s agribusiness and engineering operations. The role is responsible for ensuring optimal performance of equipment and facilities, delivering engineering projects efficiently, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance, and supporting operational growth through effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
 

•  Plan, execute, and oversee engineering and infrastructure projects to support operational objectives
•  Ensure effective preventive and corrective maintenance of all machinery, equipment, and facilities
•  Manage construction, expansion, and upgrade projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines
•  Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
•  Monitor and optimize energy usage, power consumption, and operational efficiency
•  Identify opportunities for automation and modernization of engineering systems
•  Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and engineering regulatory standards
•  Conduct engineering risk assessments and implement mitigation and contingency plans
•  Coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality and value delivery
•  Prepare and submit regular engineering, maintenance, and project performance reports
•  Track engineering KPIs and provide technical and cost-benefit analysis for management decisions

 

Requirements

Job Requirements:


•  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
•  Master’s degree in Engineering or Project Management is an added advantage
•  Professional certifications such as COREN, PMP, or other relevant engineering certifications
•  Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in engineering services, maintenance, or project management
•  Proven experience managing engineering operations, infrastructure, and large-scale projects
•  Strong background in equipment maintenance, facility management, and automation
•  Sound knowledge of safety, environmental, and engineering compliance standards
•  Strong leadership, planning, and project execution skills
•  Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams effectively
•  Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with strong technical judgment
•  Willingness to relocate to Anambra State (for non-resident candidates)
 

Working Conditions
•  Site-based role with regular field activities and project supervision
•  Requires hands-on engagement with engineering and operational teams
•  May involve extended hours during critical project phases
