ROLE SUMMARY

The Business Manager will play a critical leadership role in driving revenue growth and lounge sales through strong customer clientele development, relationship management, and retention strategies.

This role requires a commercially driven professional with a well-established network, the ability to attract and retain high-value customers, and a proven track record of converting relationships into consistent business revenue.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES: Business & Operations Management

  • Oversee all day-to-day lounge operations
  • Ensure excellence in service delivery, ambience, and F&B standards
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimisation
  • Liaise with the Executive Chef and Head of Bar to maintain quality and innovation
  • Supervise procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory

Customer Relations, Clientele & Retention

  • Build, manage, and continuously grow a strong clientele base to drive repeat business
  • Develop and implement strategies focused on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with VIPs, high-value guests, and returning customers
  • Leverage personal and professional networks to drive referrals and consistent lounge traffic
  • Personally host and manage VIP clientele to ensure a premium, memorable experience
  • Implement and maintain an active Know Your Customer (KYC) strategy
  • Proactively track guest preferences and behaviours to enhance retention and loyalty
  • Resolve customer complaints with diplomacy, discretion, and a focus on retention
  • Conduct customer satisfaction audits and implement continuous improvement strategies

Clientele Development & Brand Visibility

  • Leverage an existing network of HNIs, executives, expatriates, and influencers to drive patronage
  • Actively generate referrals and strategic introductions to expand the customer base
  • Plan and execute private events, exclusive tastings, and curated luxury experiences
  • Build partnerships with luxury brands, concierge services, and corporate organizations

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive lounge sales through strong customer relationships and repeat patronage
  • Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities within the lounge experience
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to consistently exceed targets
  • Use data and customer insights to improve spend per customer and visit frequency

Team Leadership

  • Motivate, mentor, and supervise the team to deliver consistent premium service
  • Set, monitor, and enforce KPIs aligned with customer satisfaction and revenue growth
  • Lead by example in professionalism, service excellence, and client engagement

Marketing & Business Growth

  • Collaborate with marketing partners on brand campaigns and visibility strategies
  • Drive digital presence across review platforms and social media
  • Use data analytics to track reservations, sales trends, and customer behaviour

REQUIREMENTS: Experience & Credentials

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fine dining, lounge, or hospitality management
  • Proven success in managing luxury or high-end hospitality brands
  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and retain a strong customer clientele base
  • Strong knowledge of Lagos premium social and corporate landscape

Benefits

Pay: ₦350,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
