Responsibilities
- Teaching students Accounting.
- Providing individualized instruction to students who are struggling with material or whose needs are not being met by the standard curriculum.
- Creating lesson plans and maintaining records of student progress on academic projects.
- Assisting in the development of new programs, curricula, and materials based on changing education requirements.
- Training new hires on company policies and procedures pertaining to accounting, finance, or taxation.
- Conducting staff meetings to ensure that teachers are meeting their professional development goals.
- Assigning homework and grading tests, quizzes, and other assessments.
- Preparing reports summarizing students’ progress and evaluating their performance.
- Developing lesson plans based on state and national standards for educational content.
