Delon Jobs is helping a leading bank inNigeria to hire Android Developer. The candidate should have 3 to 5yearsexperience in Java, C# and Dot Net. Experience in FINTECH will be an addedadvantage. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development andmaintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices.Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and theirintegration with back-end services. Duties & Responsibilities

Technology (Development):

Translate designs andwireframes into high quality code

Design, build, andmaintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code

Ensure the bestpossible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

Identify and correctbottlenecks and fix bugs

Help maintain codequality, organization, and automatization

Building and Designingadvanced Android applications for Android platform

Cross-functional teamcollaboration to design, define and ship new features

To use and work withoutside APIs and data sources

To perform unit testto ensure usability, robustness, edge cases and general reliability

To work and make sureimproved application performance and bug fixing

Continuous evaluation,discovery and implementation of new technologies to maximize the efficiency ofdevelopment.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATION

Minimum of FirstDegree in Computer science, Computer Engineering or any other physicalsciences. Additional related qualification will be an added Advantage

Specialized knowledge: Minimum of 3-5years cognate experience. Knowledge of automatedtesting will be an added advantage

Strong knowledge ofAndroid SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with differentscreen sizes

Familiarity withRESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

Strong knowledge ofAndroid UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

Experience withoffline storage, threading, and performance tuning

SKILLS/COMPETENCE

Ability to designapplications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”

Familiarity with theuse of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers

Knowledge of theopen-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

Ability to understandbusiness requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Familiarity with cloudmessage APIs and push notifications

A knack forbenchmarking and optimization

Understanding ofGoogle’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

Proficientunderstanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Familiarity withcontinuous integration
