Title: Youth Empowerment Scheme (YES) 2021
Location: Nigeria

The Youth Empowerment scheme otherwise known as YES aims at creating opportunities for Nigerian youths. Youths will undergo training and practical skill acquisition program in multiple vocations. The beneficiaries will be given a stipend of N35,000 monthly during the course of the training and also be qualified for automatic employment at the different organizations relevant to their training field.

End Unemployment Now Verification

The reason why we added the payable amount is for the verification of their correct details from the National Identification Number they provided just to avoid false identity.

We are using the NIMC Verification Service (NVS) which is a platform developed to enable verification of identities of persons enrolled in the National Identity Database. The NIMC Verification Service (NVS) exposes a SOAP based web service which we can use to retrieve applicant details.

We are using the NVS API to verify applicants identify using National Identification Number (NIN).

A lot of information can be retrieved from the NIN that the applicants submitted for the successful verification, the data that will be retrieved includes but not limited to their full name, gender, date of birth, state of origin, local government area, etc.

As we stated from the application requirements, there is an age restriction that the range is between 18years – 45years. During the application process, some applicants use to submit more than one applications with different email addresses and phone numbers, but with the NIN verification we will try to detect those applicants and
disqualify them immediately.

But the API is not free, so each and every interested applicant must pay the stipulated amount for the verification of his/her NIN to the API provider.

Eligibility Criteria

All interested applicants of ENDUNOW Youth Empowerment Scheme (YES) must possess the following before making their applications on the registration portal. They are;

• Be a Nigerian citizen
• Having minimum of high school certificate
• Not above 45 years of age by 31st December, 2021
• Possess National Identification Number (NIN)
• Demonstrate financial need

ENDUNOW Youth Empowerment Scheme Registration – How to Apply

The ENDUNOW Youth Empowerment Scheme Registration Portal is now accessible at www.endunow.org. Before you start this application, ensure you have clearly scanned copies of the following documents:

• Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
• National Identification Number (NIN) Slip
• Passport photograph not more than 3 months old (not more than 300kb
  size)
• Last Result Qualification
• Proof of Local Government Area of Origin
• O’ level Result
• Ensure the documents are named according to what they represent to avoid mixing up documents during upload
• Ensure you attach the appropriate documents when asked to upload. Ensure to provide valid Email and Phone Contact for effective communication.
