Job Description

DelonJobs is seeking to hire an Automation Lead for a leading bank in Nigeria who will help the business change the way they work and attitude towards repetitive tasks, more specifically in the reporting domain. Salary is negotiable. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree with a high numeric content such as mathematics, infomatics, econometrics, etc and 3-6years experience in automating reports and data transformation tasks. Candidate must also have experience working with tools such as R + SQL, Python + SQL. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build a scalable automation framework for repetitive reports
  • Manage and teach a squad of junior analysts to be involved in the development of the automated solutions 
  • Deliver automation reports with focus on high quality, reproducibility, scalability and end-to-end approach; data query, transformation, report delivery and formatting. 
  • Identify gaps and potential for automation within the company.
  • Work closely with domain experts as well as DBA/ Data Engineer when necessary.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree or equivalent standard with a high numeric content: mathematics, informatics, econometrics, etc. 
  • Independent person that can work and deliver projects on their own o Leadership skills necessary to set-up the automation squad and teach people.
  • 2+ years of experience in automating reports and data transformation tasks.
  • 3+ years working with one of the following tools: R + SQL, Python + SQL or Advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes and formatting.
