Job Description

DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Backend Developer for a leading smartcard manufacturing industry in Nigeria who will be responsible for designing and implementing applications as well as writing code. Interested candidates must possess a minimum of bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience. Salary is N8,000,000. Job Responsibilities:

  1. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  2. Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
  3. Help design and implement functional requirements.
  4. Build efficient back-end features in Python.
  5. Integrate front-end components into applications.
  6. Implementation of security and data protection.
  7. Manage testing and bug fixes.
  8. Prepare technical documentation.
  9. Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements.
  10. Develop unit and integration tests.
  11. Take full ownership of end-to-end feature implementation from specification to launch.
  12. Analyze logs, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and implement areas for improvement.

Job Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated experience as Python Developer.
  2. Experience with Python frameworks (Django).
  3.  Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.
  4. Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST API.
  5. Understanding of databases and SQL.
  6. Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
  7. Understanding the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.
  8. Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
  9. Organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
