Blingy is seeking a highly motivated, creative blog writer intern to join our team. You will build our social media presence and humanize our brand through creative copywriting and storytelling to engage our target audiences. You will be working collaboratively with our innovative, creative team, helping to lead projects that will shape the future of Blingy.
Ideal candidates are both creative and strategically minded individuals with experience in blog writing, copywriting, and digital content development. We are seeking candidates with an appreciation for the mobile application and beauty industry. You will have a fantastic opportunity to utilize your skills to shape our brand’s digital presence.
This is a remote work environment.
Write, edit, proofread and publish Blingy’s weekly blog posts and develop SEO copy.
Develop engaging stories following and supporting brand voice guidelines.
Implement social media strategy, including identifying opportunities for audience and traffic growth across all social platforms and managing our blog content calendar.
Analyze the blog’s performance and contribute to the content strategy to continuously optimize the traffic.
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
Curate scripts and outlines for promotional videos (i.e.Instagram promotions).
Collaborate with different departments to amplify the reach of the blog and our publications.
Actively develop original ideas for digital marketing, advertising, and other promotional material to facilitate social media posts and promote blog articles.
Stay up-to-date on the latest beauty and social media trends.
Requirements and Qualifications:
B.A. in English, Journalism, Communication, or a degree in a related field (preferred).
Strong portfolio containing proof of blogs, articles, or social media copywriting work.
Ability to write in the tone and style of Blingy.
Strong knowledge of grammatical rules.
Highly proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking.
Ability to transform simple content to spark user’s interest.
Passion for the beauty and technology industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Up to date with the latest trends in social media.
Good work ethics, hardworking and flexible.
