Responsibilities

By carrying out regular inspections and maintenance, keeping an eye on the equipment, and adjusting levels as needed, ensure that mechanical systems are operating as efficiently and continuously as possible.
Schedule routine inspections, cleanings, filter replacements, and any other duties required to keep every component operating at peak efficiency to maintain systems; spot and fix or replace problematic components.
Ensure safety by keeping an eye on safety equipment, spotting potential problems, and taking the necessary action to halt operations and fix the issue.
While maintaining within the budget, make the required repairs and replacements, purchase new parts, and upgrade any necessary components.
Manage a group of assistant operators and mechanics by assigning maintenance, monitoring, and repair work, scheduling jobs, giving necessary training, and providing constructive criticism as needed.
Establish and enter accurate records of inspections, maintenance procedures, and repairs.
