Job Description
A booking agent is responsible for searching and securing bookings for a musician or a band. The applicant would be required to seek out show promoters and Event planners and secure bookings for our musicians for live gigs and other shows.
Great communication and negotiation skills are required, as the agent will also be required to negotiate the price and the rider requirements on behalf of the musician.
The agent will be paid between 10-15% commission on every show booked successfully.
Before a long term contract is secured the agent must prove him/herself in a probationary period by securing an agreed upon number of bookings.
