Responsibilities
- Keep up proper awareness of loaded things
- aid in loading and unloading a vehicle with the delivery's cargo
- Make sure the necessary documentation is on hand at the time of loading.
- Use the best route feasible to drive the car to the delivery location.
- Before moving, wait for supervisors to give you delivery instructions.
- Make sure that speed limits are followed in order to prevent any mishaps
- Make sure the paperwork for the vehicle is in order and that the delivery receipts are signed.
- Fill out the relevant fields in the provided logbooks by the company, such as distance and delivery time.
- Make sure that the vehicle receives both routine and preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- a diploma from high school
- 2 to 3 years of expertise.
- Proven track record as a driver
- a current license and a spotless driving record
- understanding of local streets and neighborhoods
- the capacity to maintain composure under pressure while driving.
