Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh.
  2. Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
  3. Bake, grill, steam, and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other foods.
  4. Present, garnish, and arrange final dishes.
  5. Occasionally serve food.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes.
  7. Handle and store ingredients and food.
  8. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
  9. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  10. Execute opening and closing procedures.
  11. Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment.
  12. Check the quality and freshness of ingredients.
  13. Monitor station inventory levels.
  14. Accommodate guests’ special requests.
  15. Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.
