Job Responsibilities
- Proactively scopes the technical solutions required to address network issues, assesses network needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for the VDT Network.
- Investigates, test and recommend variety of new equipment.
- Ensure all clients requirements are met
- Provide a robust network to deliver VDT products and services.
- Support IP Engineer’s for proper IP planning.
- Interface ISP for integration and troubleshooting
- Monitor and manage the technical IP network environments
- review the design of network diagrams to meet customers’ needs
- Provide Level 2 network support to FSE, service management and existing customers.
- In conjunction with the network team, develop and conduct transition briefing.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 4-7 years work experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Sound knowledge CISCO and Mikrotik Routers configuration.
- Sound knowledge of routing (OSPF, Eigrp RIP, BGP , MBGP)
- Sound knowledge of switching
- Sound knowledge of MPLS Implementation and troubleshooting
- Sound knowledge of implementing QoS
- Sound knowledge of implementing VPN
- Sound knowledge of IP security
- Sound knowledge of Access Network Infrastructure
- Knowledge on LTE infrastructure
- Knowledge on Fiber infrastructure
- Knowledge on Microwave Radio
- Any of CCNP /ENCOR/SPCOR, MTCINE, PMP, ITIL will be an added advantage
