Job Description
- Monitor and manage Data Center facilities to ensure availability and performance.
- Supervise facility vendors and managed services partners in all support and maintenance activities.
- Daily checklist to ensure the working of all Datacenters parameters including Temperature, Power, and Telecom
- Ensure the Data Center is maintained at optimum temperature and humidity levels
- Schedule preventive maintenance on time with all vendors and ensure its effectiveness (UPS, Generator, Electrical Monitoring System, Fire alarm Etc.)
- Conduct an assessment of operations risks and highlight them to the management and take risk-mitigation activities wherever possible.
- Ensure Cable Management of all Racks is proper and tidy.
- Identify risks proactively and alerts management with possible rectification steps.
- Ensure that proper housekeeping is done within the Data Canters
- Good understanding of Datacenter Tier level classification
- Recommendation of new and emerging cabling and other infrastructure components, adding value to the overall infrastructure solutions.
- Recommend adoption of various solutions related to infrastructure facilities and data centre like CCTV, Access Control, AC, UPS and Generator etc.”
