DelonJobs is seeking to hire Database Administrator I for a tier-1 bank in Nigeria who will oversee and maintain all aspects of the Bank’s Database. This includes maintaining Database patches, configuration and Database programs and systems. The individual will monitor database status using necessary monitoring application and tools. He/She will carry out all suggested database maintenance activities to keep the integrity of the database at 100%. Annual salary is between NGN 6million – NGN 8million. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or operational sciences with minimum of 2-3 years experience in similar role. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor Database status using necessary Monitoring Application and tools.
- Carry out all suggested Database maintenance activities to keep the integrity of the Database at 100%.
- Ensure proper functioning of all Databases under your purview.
- Carry out Database audit, periodic vulnerability assessment.
- Generate and send Database Reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Monitor and enforce compliance with Database policies bank wide
- Research and suggest improvement initiatives with regards to Database health checks.
- Monitor and ensure security of the Bank’s Database
- Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead, Database Management.
