Job Description
- Provides local level advocacy and child protection expertise and support to the programme. Ensures that local level advocacy contributions are aligned with the organizational strategic directions.
- Takes major role in the conduct of strategic networking activities at the local level, including maintaining correspondence with networks and coalitions
- Establishes database of existing and potential advocacy partners of WV Malawi at the local level
- Engages existing and potential advocacy and child protection partners and other cross-cutting sectors to be advocates and champions in addressing child wellbeing sues and in the promotion of child well-being and children’s rights.
- Facilitate the integration of advocacy, child protection, gender, disability as key cross-cutting themes as well as DRR and spiritual nurture of children in programme work.
