DelonJobs is seeking to hire a DevOps Engineer for a leading bank in Nigeria who will work closely with Software Engineers to help them deploy and operate different systems that automate and streamline company’s operations and processes. The individual will deploy product updates, identify production issues and implement integrations that meet customer needs. Salary is negotiable. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with minimum of 2 years experience working as a DevOps Engineer. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and Manage CI and CD tools and process.
- Improve infrastructure development and application development.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting for all deployed services and application.
- Interact with team members to improve our engineers’ tools, technology stack, and application performance and stability.
- Troubleshoot production issues to address technical commitments and boost sustainability.
- Handle code deployments in all environments.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies
- Experience with high-performance and high-availability open-source web technologies.
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure services like AWS, Azure and GCS.
- Knowledge of Docker, Docker swamp and Kubernetes.
