Manage and oversee a portfolio of evaluation projects conducted by contractors, working with internal & external partners, including providing support for research design, developing data collection tools, carrying out quantitative and qualitative data collection, analyzing findings, and writing and reviewing reports.
Work with AgDiv Outcome Leads and the M&E team to develop and implement M&E plans for major project interventions to support risk monitoring, learning, and impact evaluation.
Conduct economic and policy analysis to inform project strategy and program design.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis of key project interventions.
Contribute to project strategy and planning, including managing the development of the Annual Work Plan, supporting AgDiv staff to develop short-term work plans, and contributing to proposal drafting.
Contribute to capacity building within AgDiv, including conducting trainings in M&E and other skills.
Support project performance management, including conducting an annual review and revision of USAID performance targets, and supporting the performance evaluation activities undertaken by AgDiv’s independent evaluator.
Support project communications and dissemination of lessons learned by contributing to reports and press releases, developing papers for publication, or presenting at conferences, workshops, or webinars.
Coordinate with research and evaluation partners such as the USAID Innovation Labs, World Bank and other organizations and experts in Malawi.
