Strong understanding of Microsoft Solutions, Backup/DR, Systems, and computing.
Understanding of wireless, network, collaboration, and security solutions.
Keep in close contact with OEMs, in-market field sellers, and partners in your area of expertise.
Keep abreast with any OEM product announcements, sales incentives, and programs that apply to your region.
Support the sales team, focusing your efforts to have the greatest overall influence on the productivity and profit of the team, or as instructed by the pre-sales lead or sales lead.
Proactively defines the technical solution needed to fulfill the needs of the customer, evaluates the needs that have already been addressed and those that have not, and makes recommendations for solutions that maximize value for both the client and the company.
Tight collaboration with internal resources for sales, sales support, and service.
Perform maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
Plan, monitor, and control projects using the either PMBOK/PRINCE2 methodology
Investigate and resolve problems for services within your own area of responsibility; communicate to colleagues as appropriate, following ITIL processes; manage major network-related incidents and bring them to a satisfactory closure
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
