Job Summary: 

 DelonJobs is helping a tier-1 bank in Nigeria to hire 3 Enterprise Platform and Unix Support Manager to Supervise and Oversee all Unix and Enterprise platform support, Also, maintain all aspects of the Unix and Supercluster Infrastructure platform. Ensuring its health and operational uptime. Candidate must possess MBA/MSC and a first degree in Computing Science, Engineering, Operational sciences or (any other discipline with strong Information Systems component and/or relevant IT Service Management certification). Candidate must also have a minimum of 6 – 8 years IT Operations experience in a technology environment. ITIL and other professional qualification will be an added advantage. Salary is negotiable. • Monitor Unix and Supercluster status using necessary Monitoring Application and tools.
• Carry out all suggested Unix and Supercluster maintenance activities to keep the integrity of the Unix and Supercluster environment at 100%.
• Ensure per functioning of all Unix and Supercluster environments under your purview.
• Carry out periodic audit checks on both the Unix and periodically to ensure the Data centers are healthy.
• Generate monthly capacity report
• Monitor and enforce compliance with Unix and Supercluster policies bank wide
• Research and suggest improvement initiatives with regards to Unix infrastructure checks.
• Monitor and ensure security of the Bank’s Unix and Supercluster environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead, Platform Support -Unix.
