DelonJobs is seeking to hire (5) Enterprise SAN Storage for aleading financial institution in Nigeria. The candidate will maintain allaspects of the company’s storage and ensure a daily/weekly /monthly backupschedule.  Interested candidates mustpossess a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computing Science, Engineering,Operational sciences or (any other discipline with strong Information Systemscomponent and/or relevant IT Service Management certification) with a minimum of4 years IT Operations experience in a technology environment. Job Responsibilities:

1. Carry outall suggested Backup activities and maintain a consistent Backup schedule.
2. Ensureproper functioning of all Backup and Storage drives under your purview.
3. Generatemonthly capacity report showcasing the authenticity of our backup strategy.
4. Ensures thatthe company’s data storage systems and the Storage Area Network are adequatelymanaged and maintained.
5. Research andsuggest improvement initiatives with regards to Storage and Backupactivities/checks.
6. Ensures thatdata is backed up, securely stored, and made available in a valid form forDisaster Recovery purposes.
7. Ensures thatcapacity is available on the storage arrays for various IT services.
8. Monitorsbackup environment, including tapes and tape libraries, to ensure optimalperformance and sufficient capacity levels.
9. Administrationand Management of Unix (AIX, Linux) and Windows operating systems.

JobRequirements:

1. Goodknowledge and understanding of banking operations.
2.  2 years in server/storage administration and Management.
   
3. GoodKnowledge of SAN Administration Experienced in Storage management.
4. Good understandingof Backup, Restore, and Disaster recovery activities.
5. Strong SANTroubleshooting Skills.
6. Goodknowledge of Virtualization, Servers, and Networks Vendor Management.
7. Goodunderstanding of Databases   Goodunderstanding of various Operating systems.
8. Ability tomake sound and logical security judgments.
9. Demonstratedleadership and personnel/project management skills.
10. Goodunderstanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
11. Stronginterpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. 
12. Able toconduct research into issues as required.
13. ITIL  and other professional qualifications will bean added advantage.
