Responsibilities
- determining the needs and goals of the client for every event.
- generating and putting into practice event themes and concepts.
- creating event budgets and handling billing.
- locating and reserving locations
- organizing the entertainment, employees, caterers, and vendors.
- arranging for the event's entire logistics.
- directing the operations for setup, breakdown, and cleanup.
- preparing for potential risks and anticipating attendees' needs.
- Creating post-event evaluations on each event's success
Requirements
- degree in management, hospitality, or a similar profession.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- project management expertise and a history of successful events.
- Outstanding organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask under pressure.
- strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- imaginative, unconventional thinking
- ability to successfully assign duties to a huge staff.
- meticulousness in the details.
- mastery in time management.
- Financial smart with the capacity to manage invoices and follow plan budgets.
