Responsibilities
- Run the daily activities of the society in an organized and efficient manner.
- Relate with IT stakeholders, industries, and governments on behalf of the society on issues relating to IT development in Nigeria.
- Constantly developing and executing strategies for guaranteeing the financial viability of the society.
- Promote, enhance, and sustain the membership of the society.
- Pursue the implementation of the objectives of the society.
- Realizing the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) defined for the office.
- Create new values and opportunities for the society.
- Coordinate the effective implementation of the activities and programmes of the society
- Carry out the functions stated in the constitution of NCS.
- Any other duties assigned by the President and National Executive Council.
Qualifications and Professional Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or any Information Technology related discipline.
- Masters in any IT related discipline or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) will be an added advantage.
- Must have a minimum of 10-years cognate experience in the Information Technology practice.
- Membership of Nigeria Computer Society for a minimum of five years
- Registration with Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria) – CPN
- Must not be more than 55 years at the time of application.
- Must have good knowledge of the administration and management of corporate organizations
- Must have good knowledge of the administration and management of corporate organizations
- Must have result-oriented leadership qualities.
- Must have sound communication and interpersonal skills.
