Job Description

We are looking for a skilled for our client who will oversee all the Hotel-related facilities activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of the Hotel infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. You should be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. You should display Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency .The goal is to ensure our business’s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions. As the Facilities Supervisor you are generally responsible for maintaining and managing the buildings and facilities of a Hotel. In addition, you are responsible for guiding and directing staff as well as managing facilities' equipment and supplies. As our Facilities supervisor, you will manage and oversee inventory, repairs, employers, and contractors at multiple of our locations.

Facilities Manager Duties and responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, coordinate and estimate budget for single facility and hiring personnel.
  • Oversee procurement and maintenance and upgrade overall facility as required.
  • Establish and administer policies and procedures for events.
  • Coordinate and manage activities and events with other departments and external clients.
  • Ensure facilities meet needs of the Hotel and coordinate with IT staff for technological needs.
  • Monitor facility usage, operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Prepare and implement annual budget for building use and facility maintenance.
  • Update and maintain usage records and invoice clients accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment functioning status and other systems in building.
  • Develop schedule for regular evaluation and maintenance of facilities.
  • Participate in development of policies and procedures affecting usage supplies and facilities.
  • Ensure all equipment and other facilities are functioning well.
  • Develop monitoring systems or programs in the Hotel to detect problems in initial stage.
  • Initiate interventions to solve problems in facilities.
  • Develop and execute system for regular cleaning, repair and maintenance of facilities.
  • Plan and coordinate all Hotel-related activities
  • Manage waste disposal, recycling, and other
  • Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  •  Inspect Hotel’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
  • Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
  • Allocate Rooms and office space according to needs
  • Monitor and manage facilities' security systems 
  • Ensure good condition of facilities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Keep track of inventory items
  • Document supply shrinkage, spoilage and/or a change of location
  • Document and advise on needs for equipment repairs 
  • Supervise contractors and vendors when the facility is in use
  • Evaluate proposals from vendors
  • Respond to the emergency needs in a timely manner
  • Negotiate opportunities to rent facilities 
  • Perform other task as may be required
