Job Description
Responsibilities
Process all approved payments in accordance with industry standards and with the necessary documentation.
Assist the Staffs with administrative and technical tasks so that all advances are paid back and reports are generated and filed on time.
Participate in workshop logistics planning and execution.
retirement payment vouchers filled out with supporting documentation
Utilizing an accounting package, posting daily transactions (Income & Expenditure).
Execute banking operations and keep track of daily deposits and withdrawals.
the creation of PVs and the creation of checks.
PV posting and financial report preparation.
accountable for keeping track of the budget, reconciling the bank statements, and creating the employee payroll.
responsible for creating requests for money, being paid, and helping the staff members develop their financial management skills.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess an HND / BSc. Degree in Accounting, Finance or other Social Sciences and the candidate must a qualified accountant with ACA OR ACCA certificate. A master’s degree is an added advantage
Must also have at least three (3) years’ working experience in a similar position, preferably with Non-Governmental organizations
The successful candidate will manage the QuickBooks Software of the project, therefore, a strong skill in QuickBooks is very important.
Other requirements are Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint with good analytical, interpersonal, communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English Language.
