Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Process all approved payments in accordance with industry standards and with the necessary documentation.
  • Assist the Staffs with administrative and technical tasks so that all advances are paid back and reports are generated and filed on time.
  • Participate in workshop logistics planning and execution.
  • retirement payment vouchers filled out with supporting documentation
  • Utilizing an accounting package, posting daily transactions (Income & Expenditure).
  • Execute banking operations and keep track of daily deposits and withdrawals.
  • the creation of PVs and the creation of checks.
  • PV posting and financial report preparation.
  • accountable for keeping track of the budget, reconciling the bank statements, and creating the employee payroll.
  • responsible for creating requests for money, being paid, and helping the staff members develop their financial management skills.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess an HND / BSc. Degree in Accounting, Finance or other Social Sciences and the candidate must a qualified accountant with ACA OR ACCA certificate. A master’s degree is an added advantage
  • Must also have at least three (3) years’ working experience in a similar position, preferably with Non-Governmental organizations
  • The successful candidate will manage the QuickBooks Software of the project, therefore, a strong skill in QuickBooks is very important.
  • Other requirements are Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint with good analytical, interpersonal, communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English Language.
