Job Description
- Financial Reporting: Preparation of Financial Statements
- Ensure timely financial and statistical reports for management and board use.
- Ensure integrity of GL
- Ensure appropriate book closure process is in place to produce financial statements by the 5th working day of subsequent month.
- Generate and post monthly adjustments
- Update and reconcile intercompany account
- Generate monthly, quarterly and annual P&L report
- Generate monthly, quarterly and annual balance sheet and cashflow statements
- Financial Accounting:
- Generate reconciliation of bank statements
- General Ledger and Balance sheet reviews
- Payroll Accounting & Management
- Accounts Receivables Management
- Accounts Payable Management
- Inventory Management; Stock Count
- Compliance
- Ensure all statutory reporting are properly accounted in the financial systems
- Ensure all statutory returns are paid and filed with regulatory bodies
- Ensure all monthly source documents are properly filed for easy retrieval and access.
- Statutory include: VAT, WHT, PAYE, ITF, NSITF etc
