Job Description
- Supervising the accounting team back office activities such as preparation of statutory books, group reporting, joint venture accounting, general accounting, tax reporting and submissions, regulatory declarations, working capital management, cash and banking, intercompany, accounts payable and asset accounting
- Ensuring application and compliance with all group accounting procedures, policies, instructions, timetable (month end, year end, hardclose, budgeting cycle) and also with all in-country local regulations such as OHADA reporting, Petroleum contracts (PSCs, convention, JV partners agreements) and hydrocarbon law.
- Managing the interface locally with JV operators accounting team, Gabon administration and various auditors such as statutory, state and joint venture auditors.
