Job Description
The head chef carries out and coordinates the organization’s overall production ensuring high-quality culinary services and contentment to our clients.
Other duties include the following:
- Controlling and directing the entire food preparation process.
- In charge of supervising and working closely with other kitchen staff on all levels.
- Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including hygienic and food safety guidelines.
- Determines food inventory needs, explains stocking, ordering and differences in daily consumption and avoid wastages.
- Oversees and approves dishes before being served or delivered to customers, also ensures all meals are prepared within the expected time frame and sent out to the waiters for delivery.
- Responsible for ensuring all kitchen appliances and utensils are used properly and always kept in good condition.
- Responsible for the Health and Safety of all staff in the kitchen.
