DelonJobs is looking to hire a Head of Sales, Private Wealth for a leading insurance company in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate would be responsible for leading the assigned team in the generation of liabilities, sale & marketing of all private Wealth products and services in Lagos, acquisition of new clients, identification and conversion of business opportunities, reactivation of inactive relationships, ensuring increase in Share of Clients’ Wallet & client retention. The person will also develop and review strategies, plans and procedures for managing clients’ portfolios, whilst fully complying with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Interested candidates must possess a minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized University (preferred; Finance Related) and a minimum of 8 to 12 years of working experience in a senior sales capacity. Relevant professional certification e.g. Chartered Wealth Management Courses, MBA, MSC will be an added advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Design, review and implement business/marketing plan for the Sale and Marketing of the products and services of all LAM entities to UHNW and HNW clients within Lagos and the southwest region.
· Identify and convert UHNW and HNW clients, and opportunities for Group Marketing presentations.
· Ensure the achievement of assigned annual goals and set KPI targets.
· Promote and ensure an increase in customer acquisition, retention and development through effective relationship management.
· Broaden offering through internal & external partnerships and solicit for referrals in order to increase business volumes from new and existing customers.
· Make coordinated and effective marketing calls via physical visits, online meetings, and telephone, and ensure proper documentation of marketing calls.
· Comply with all service level standards and contribute to the maintenance of a robust control environment, and the attainment of high audit standards.
· Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements (KYC, CDD, AML/CFT, etc.)
· Ensure prompt preparation of all MIS reports as required, for presentations and to aid decision-making.
· Conduct ongoing analysis of market conditions and customer requirements, and articulate to management, a means of actualizing them.
· Organize periodic customer engagement forums for effective customer feedback, and retention of existing customers.
· Review periodically and ensure adherence to Wealth Management Group’s Operating Manual and Operational processes.
· Continuously fine-tune internal processes to ensure optimal efficiency and high level of service standards.
· Provide coaching and mentoring for team members to ensure adherence to set standards and enhance staff performance.
· Ensure that all customer complaints and service requests are promptly treated.
· Ensure that all clients’ and relevant support documents are promptly and continuously preserved.
Ideal Job Specifications Academic requirement:
