The Information Communication Technology (ICT)/Management Information System (MIS) Unit will be directly under his or her direct control, and s/he will coordinate risk assessment exercises with various members of the Health Services & Quality Assurance Department.
He or she is responsible for making sure that the MIS unit under this Department contributes to the efficient analysis of claims data, utilization data, and client profiles, to generate actuarial valuation indices in underwriting risks of the current “Benefits Plan” at policy renewals (to ensure appropriate pricing at all times), and to advise the Clients Services Unit on rates at policy renewals. This will be a key evaluation factor for this employee each month.
He/she will work closely with the Finance & Admin Department’s Credits Control Unit to monitor the underwriting of new plans.
