Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Follow all instructions for work order upkeep, troubleshooting, and calibration of plant machinery.
  2. Instrumentation and solid state and microprocessor-based control equipment, including plant communications, equipment, programmable controllers, distributive control systems, generator excitation equipment, battery chargers, and semi-conductor devices.
  3. Need to be troubleshot, inspected, tested, maintained, repaired, cleaned, and calibrated.
  4. Switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contractors, motor starters, transmitters, etc. should all be repaired or replaced as necessary.
  5. Install control and measuring devices on new or existing industrial machinery.
  6. Use a variety of test tools, such as recorders, computers, control and tuning modules.
  7. PC-based software analyzer programs, oscilloscopes, data analyzers, logistic test tools, analogue and digital multi-meters, mergers, and other tools.
  8. When conducting tests to find issues and keep equipment maintained and calibrated to performance standards.
