Job Description
Delon USA is seeking to hire an Interface Manager for our FPU EPC (one-year contract role in Texas, due to start July 1, 2023). Candidate should have an existing US work permit (OPT, EAD, GC or US Citizen). Salary is between $60 – $65/Hr. Interface Manager Qualification
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, project management etc.).
- Having an existing US visa would be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in offshore projects or related industries (e.g., oil and gas) more than 5 years required.
- Proven track record of successfully managing interfaces between different project teams or other contractors of Client.
- Experience in identifying and mitigating interface risks, including potential conflicts or gaps in project deliverables.
Technical Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of offshore project lifecycle and associated processes (e.g., engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning).
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, ISO, IEC) governing offshore projects.
- Knowledge of offshore-specific systems and equipment (e.g., subsea structures, pipelines, risers, marine operations).
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English), with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to resolve interface-related issues and foster collaboration.
Problem-solving and Decision-making:
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify interface-related challenges, propose solutions, and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical, operational, and organizational issues that may arise during the project.
- Adaptability and flexibility to adjust interface strategies and plans in response to changing project requirements or circumstances.
Leadership and Teamwork:
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to guide multidisciplinary teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Ability to foster a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in managing interfaces across different project phases and disciplines, including engineering, procurement, and construction.
Safety and Quality:
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols specific to offshore projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of quality management principles and practices to ensure that interface deliverables meet project specifications and standards.
Software and Tools:
- Proficiency in using interface management software and tools to track, monitor, and report on interface activities and progress.
- Familiarity with document control systems and project collaboration platforms commonly used in offshore projects
