Job Description
Carry out maintenance tasks, such as checking, diagnosing and optimizing systems, to verify that they are functioning correctly and can be used easily and efficiently.
Maintain technologies in accordance with data and access security controls, including performing routine repair, configuration and storage tasks, to ensure that the IT equipment needed by WFP staff is available.
Prepare files and systems, such as website contents and directories, for inventory and archiving, to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Answer a variety of questions about technologies and systems to help WFP staff deliver the services expected of them.
With the support of senior colleagues, train end-users in technologies and systems to use them effectively.
Perform routine network hardware and software installations, including testing and identifying problems, to help keep technologies working.
