Job Description


  1. Manage day-to-day network infrastructure.
  2. Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
  3. Oversee troubleshooting for system errors.
  4. Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade enterprise networks and in house active devices.
  5. Ensure network security and connectivity.
  6. Provide network policies and procedures.
  7. Assess the company’s need for any and all computing technology and make appropriate recommendations for purchases and upgrades.
  8. Connect all relevant technology to the network with secure protocols.
  9. Deploy and roll out updates and upgrades in a minimally disruptive way.
  10. Create training and educational materials to ensure that users understand security protocols, connection procedures, and other necessary information.
  11. Monitor the performance of the network using analytical data to resolve problems.
  12. Proactively seek changes or upgrades that can improve the network in a way that adds to the business efficiency.
  13. Provide technical support for online meetings and webinars.
  14. Maintain information security for sensitive data.
  15. Create and update documentation as required.
  16. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT consumables and ensure timely replenishment of stocks.
  17. Provide technical supports and manage contract with vendors for effective services.

Essential Skills/Requirements

  1. B.Sc / HND in Computer Science or related fields.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Proven experience in a network administrator and network security role.
  4. Hands-on experience in networking, routing, switching and security.
  5. Excellent knowledge of best practices around management and control.
  6. Monitoring of enterprise network infrastructure.
  7. Experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ISE & Palo-Alto),
  8. Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  9. Ability to set up, configure and integrate network hardware.
  10. Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
  11. Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
  12. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical instructions and manuals.
