Job Description
- Provide Supervision, mentoring and on-the-job training for all district HDAs
- Travel to health facilities and observe HDAs providing services to provide feedback and support
- Provide guidance on performance objectives and professional development, including managing time away from a post for training
- Organize regular meetings to share experiences, discuss challenges, identify solutions to barriers to testing and motivate HDAs
- Promote a spirit of teamwork among HDAs and enhance a sense of individual responsibility and commitment to providing quality HTS
- Coordinate HTS Provider Networks
- Identify gaps and coordinate meetings, workshops or training with HDAs and health facility staff
- Ensure that the optimal standard of HTS is achieved
- Establish and maintain the use of nationally approved clinical guidelines, protocols and evidence-based practices
- Ensure materials and aids are available (condoms, IEC materials, test kits, etc.)
