Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols and standard operating procedures
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions for testing
- Record and analyze test data, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of results
- Adhere to strict quality control and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Valid Laboratory Technician license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in the use of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
