JOB TITILE: Livelihood Facilitators
CONTRACT DURATION: 12 months
LOCATION: Borno (MMC, Jere & Biu), Yobe
(Damaturu, Potiskum & Nguru) and Adamawa
(Yola North, Yola South, Mubi North and Mubi
South) states
PROJECT: Strengthening Women and Youth
Enterprises for Sustainable Income Generation
and Economic Empowerment
Experience in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and information
management systems. Proficient in Word
Knowledge and best practices seeking and application, from with in and outside
Development Agencies
Ability to perform efficiently under minimum supervison
Technical Skills
Ensure regular communication with Livelihood officer to integrate appropriate priorities in program design
Ability to interprete beneficiary’s feedback into a programmatic action
Ensure regular communication with beneficiaries
Collaborate with other actors in the RRA to ensure referrals to other services and interventions.
Skills & Knowledge:
Demonstrated ability to solve problems, think and plan strategically, and communicate with key actors in a dynamic and unpredictable operating environment
Strong skills in monitoring, evaluation, research and conducting participatory, community-led assessments.
Knowledge of community mobilization and facilitation techniques
Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability and willingness to work in a participatory manner with a diverse range of communities
Personal qualities:
Team player, clear communicator, flexible, network-builder, able to handle pressure well under minimal supervision, and a commitment to ZEGCAWIS core values and gender
Languages:
Fluency in written and spoken English and knowledge of local language
Commitment to take up additional responsibilities:
