Assist in offseason repairs and maintenance and support operational readiness
Assist to review and analyze green tobacco bale weights received from buying station and ensure that there are no significant deviations from the tolerable or allowable weight difference.
Co-ordinate availability of trucks from buying station and factory to ensure that adequate trucks are positioned to dispatch green tobacco from the respective areas and ensure all required standards (EHS, Quality) are met
Assist in expense costing analysis and monitoring for Logistics and Inventory and support delivery of Capex projects
Ensure verification of service and reconciliation of all Logistic and Inventory invoices and SAP postings on a timely basis without delays or hindering operational activities.
Assist to ensure full adherence to 5S3R standards by coordinating monthly and quarterly audits, timely reporting and remediation of required actions
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in any key professional studies- Accounting / Business Administration
2-3 years’ experience in warehousing and processing with a demonstrated knowledge of Leafpoint or any other system used for green tobacco accountability.
Good communication skills -both oral and written and proactively address issues and effect change
Strong analytical skills and organized with the ability to allocate and delegate tasks with clear performance targets
Detail oriented and ability to analyze and reconcile transactions
Ability to work in a changing environment with minimum supervision
