Job SummaryDelonJobs is helping a leading integrated digital, payments and commerce company in Lagos to hire an experienced Manager, Network Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the installation, configuration, and support of our client’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. He/She will supervise network support specialists. And will administer network security measures.Salary is between 6.1M – 8.5M per annum.  Technical Experience

  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
  • Uncovers emerging issues and/or needs and identifies potential causes, related issues, key stakeholders and barriers.
  • Navigates a wide variety of existing processes, procedures and precedents to interpret data and identify possible answers.
  • Performs standard and non-routine administrative data processing tasks for the principle and gives colleagues advice on the proper performance of departmental processes.
  • Supports and enables others to use and benefit from existing data management systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection software. Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of networks, and to coordinate network access and use.
  • Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Provide information and clarification on existing procedures, processes and precedents.
  • Complete operational tasks, data management, incident logging, reporting, systems monitoring, systems testing, and disaster recovery to support the day-to-day infrastructure and networks.
