DelonJobs is seeking to hire anetwork engineer for a tier-1 bank in Nigeria who will oversee and maintain allaspects of Network hardware. This includes maintaining networks securitypatches, configuration and security programs and systems. The individual will MonitorNetwork Security status using Cisco Security Monitoring Application andResponse System (CSMARS) and other security monitoring tools. Annual salary isbetween NGN 6million – NGN 8million. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degreein computer science, engineering or operational sciences with minimum of 2years IT operations in a technology environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor Network Security statususing Cisco SecurityMonitoringApplication and Response System (CSMARS) and other security monitoring tools
- Carry out all suggested responseactions to threats upon detection of a security breach or network attack
- Ensure proper functioning of allSecurity Devices (Checkpoints, ASA, PIX Firewall, IPS, Routers)
- Review logs of Security devices(Checkpoints, IPS, ACS, ASA, PIX Firewall)
- Coordinate the regular changingnetwork devices passwords
- Carry out network security audit,periodic vulnerability assessment and network penetration
- Testing (ethical hacking) usingtools such as Qualys guard and NMAP
- Generate and send Network SecurityReports (daily, weekly, monthly)
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Good knowledge and understandingof banking operations
- Good and Strong Working Knowledge of Cisco Router
