Job Description
- Ensure compliance with rules and regulations governing news coverage.
- Generate assignments and evaluate news leads and news tips to develop stories.
- Gather and verify factual Information regarding Stories through Interviews, observation, and research; ensures the accuracy of news programs.
- Edit news material and reporter submissions; prepare and write stories according to prescribed editorial style and format standards, and serves as fill-in host.
- Interact with management in the development implementation and maintenance policies, objectives, short- and long-range planning; develop and implement projects and programs to assist in the accomplishment of established goals.
- Participate in the development and management of annual operating budgets and provide fiscal input
- Monitor equipment usage and ensure the maintenance of equipment inventories
