Job Description
- Direct transport department in all aspects of vehicle and motorbike movement, maintenance and fueling per established policies.
- Supervise six administrative officers within central and southern Malawi and conducting periodic in person visits to observe stores and fleet management, general office operations and facilities.
- Oversee operations department in procurement and management of stores, fleet, and other project assets;
- Work with Operations, Human Resource, and Finance departments to regularly review SOPs to ensure they are consistent and compliant with local laws and USAID regulations.
- Provide oversight for infrastructure projects, ensuring contracts comply with USAID policies.
- Serve on Internal Procurement Committee; assisting with weekly meetings, ensuring established policies are adhered to and minutes are distributed in a timely manner.
- Liaise with operations director on matters of joint interest while otherwise contributing expertise to various management and operational matters as directed.
