Job Description
The Operations Manager will beresponsible for inspecting accounts, engaging in proactive visits of accounts,securing ratings of staff, coordinating site visits and new accountsorientation, resolving customer complaints, training & development of staff,and maintaining client relations.
Essential duties:
- Provides ‘on-site’ training for staff
- Identifies Special Service work opportunities
- Engage in secondary marketing activities to increase business
- Reviews customer needs for consumable supply needs
- Resolves customer complaints as necessary
- Hires cleaning staff.
- Conducts new hire training and continuous development of staff
- Attempts resolution of customer complaints
- Ensures compliance with all labor laws, OSHA regulations and Company policies and procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability to manage large teams of people in an organized structure
- Track record of success in the management of large teams in a competitive environment
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) and Internet operations
- Strong presentation skills
- Professional speaking voice and demeanor
- Ability to work highly sensitive information and work in a confidential environment
- Proven ability to train staff
EDUCATION:
- Undergraduate degree in related discipline
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a large commercial cleaning organization or hospitality housekeeping management.
