Strategic Responsibility: To set the direction of the plant operation, forecast monthly production plan, weekly target and prepare action plans for self and individual team members.
To accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Day to Day Management: To set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to factory staff.
To maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
To keep a close eye on employee productivity, hygiene, health etc and report to concerned reporting authority in case of any issue.
