Under the direct supervision of the head of mission, the WASH project manager will be responsible for:
o Develop project strategies, tools and work plans adapted to the local context
o Ensure that the components of the WASH project are implemented on time and in a coherent and integrated manner
o Maintain a positive working relationship with local technical counterparts and international partners
o Evaluate, plan, implement, monitor all activities of the WASH project
o Lead the development and implementation of the necessary field assessments and the collection of all data related to the WASH project in Lac province
o Participate in the drafting of tender documents, in the collection and evaluation of tenders
o Coordinate and supervise the work of the WASH team in the province
o Ensure adequate management of the performance of his team, including annual performance proposals and ad hoc interventions as needed
o Liaise and coordinate all project activities with local authorities and beneficiaries involved in the projects
o Participate in relevant sectoral meetings at local and national levels and meet with local authorities
o Develop project reports using the appropriate tools and templates
o Manage the WASH project budget, in close collaboration with the finance department and the head of mission
o Perform other related tasks on request to support the project team and the project implementation process
