DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Ruby Engineer for a leading Human Resource company. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in software development and a passion for building high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. Interested candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails and web development. Salary is $50,000 per annum. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications.
- Write automated tests using Rspec or other testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails and Web development.
- 5+ years of React Experience.
- Experience with automated testing using Rspec or other frameworks.
- Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of background processing and Sidekiq.
- Shopify Apps experience is a plus.
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis and MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
