Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Analyzes current policies and regulations in the gas and power sectors; develops revisions required to comply with new requirements; and receives required executive approval for implementation.
  • serves as the GM's principal advisor and commercial strategist, supporting him or her as needed in identifying business and operational risk and resolving related problems.
  • Charged with generating revenue through the promotion of new and existing services, the renegotiation/renewal of service agreements such as GSPAs, GSAs, GTAs, etc., and the design and implementation of new services.
  • participates in the creation and implementation of the corporate level strategy plan, which includes plans for business expansion, money management, and operational effectiveness.
  • provides management oversight for the creation of integrated, high-quality operational management programs that are also cost-effective.
  • proactively interacts with the marketing entities inside the company to identify potential areas of mutual cooperation in order to achieve the company's goals while ensuring the successful integration of the company's strategic plan with its daily operations.
  • Creates and implements customer-specific business retention and growth strategies in a cutthroat industry.

Qualifications

  • 1st degree in Marketing, Law, Business, Economics, Engineering, or other related field.
  • 10 – 15 years cognate work experience, within a reputable and structured oil & gas business environment
  • Experience marketing Gas and Power sales and distribution network.
  • Experience in setup and operation of gas distribution network
  • Master’s in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
