Job Description

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Be knowledgeable about the product.
  2. Present at Sales Presentation.
  3. Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
  4. Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
  5. Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
  6. Answer questions about the products.
  7. Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements.
  8. Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships •     Strong social and emotional Intelligence.
  9. Meet or exceed projected weekly and monthly sales goals.

CORE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. HND, BSc in Marketing or relevant field is an advantage.
  2. At least 1-2 years Prior experience as a Sales Consultant is compulsory.
  3. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
  4. Strong negotiating and selling skills.
  5. Be well-groomed and presentable.
  6. Have excellent people skills and intuitive to client’s needs.
  7. Be fully bilingual (with a third African language being beneficial).
  8. Giving professional presentations.
  9. Not buckling under pressure and be very target driven.
  10. Basic computer and software skills in Microsoft Word/Excel.
  11. Being calm when dealing with customer complaints and issues.
  12. Working well as part of a bigger sales team but also be able to deliver and work independently.
