Some Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-day functions of the school at all
- Develop and run educational
- Evaluate and standardise curriculum and teaching
- Lead practices for achievement of high academic
- Monitor financial affairs including budgets, purchasing of school
- Support the different departments with training, enrichment, and goal
- Recruit, hire, train, dismiss and counsel
- Set KPIs and perform appraisals for all
- Counsel students and parents when
- Resolve conflicts within and outside of the
- Ensure the school complies with all relevant laws, regulations and
- Generates periodic reports to monitor all aspects of the school – student/staff performance, expenses, maintenance,
- Communicate with parents regarding student performance or disciplinary
- Ensure compliance with all governing bodies – LIRS, Ministry of Education, Pension, Exam board,
- Prepare for the upcoming school year during summer
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess NCE/B.Ed/PGd.Ed. or BSc/BA with an additional qualification in Education.
The ideal candidate must stay within Surulere/Mushin and its environs.
Experience
Minimum of 4 – 6 years of working experience in a similar role or as a Principal, Vice Principal, Head Teacher/Asst.Head Teacher.
