DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Scrum Master for a leading financial institution in Nigeria who will be responsible for collaborating with members of the team on Agile processes and ensure strict adherence to Scrum values, principles, and practices to get the best product out. Interested candidates must possess a minimum of bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with a minimum of at least 6 – 8 years’ experience in Agile/Scrum practices. Salary is Negotiable. Job Responsibilities:
- Implement project management or best practices.
- Introduce Agile Engineering practices.
- Implement changes and steps to increase the team’s productivity.
- Collaborate with other scrum masters to improve the methodologies’ efficiency.
- Formulating techniques for effective product backlog management.
- Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain etc. are understood by every member in the Scrum team properly.
- Understand and practice agility.
- Lead and coach successful scrum adoption.
- Facilitate Scrum events as requested or needed.
- Help the development team to create high-value products.
- Remove project impediments that stand in the way of team productivity and performance.
Job Requirements:
- Agile Scrum Master certification
- MSC in Computer Science/Engineering or Numeric Science is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Scrum and Agility practices.
- Good understanding of the financial services industry.
- Working knowledge of product management.
- Analytical Skills/ Problem solving.
- Interpersonal Skills.
- Oral & Written communication.
- General managerial/ administration.
- Conflict resolution skills.
